The Challenge

R+V Krankenversicherung wants to offer its customers a simple and intuitive way to submit health documents quickly and easily. In addition, the app is to be expanded in various stages with digital services as a central health touchpoint. Our goal: to find a solution that is both accessible and features a modern interface. With the increasing digitization of processes, documents are increasingly being submitted in digital form. These should be automatically captured in high quality and seamlessly transmitted to R+V Versicherung for evaluation—without users having to make manual corrections.

The Solution

We are developing two native apps for iOS and Android that bundle all important health services on one platform. With an agile and user-centered approach, we design the app specifically according to the needs of our customers. The new document scanner is iteratively tested and optimized in the UX lab – barrier-free and intuitive to use. In addition, digital documents such as PDFs can also be easily uploaded – a future-oriented feature that supports the transition to fully digital submission. Modern technology and smart integration ensure that the app runs securely and stably, while the appearance matches the modern look of R+V.

The new app integrates seamlessly into R+V Krankenversicherung's existing processes. The smart document scanner reliably recognizes health documents, significantly reducing processing time. The intuitive and modern design ensures a pleasant user experience and increases efficiency on the company side as well.
