Our Impact

  • Rolled out in 44 countries

  • Several million active users

  • Easy control from a single source

The Challenge

Mobility is changing. Customers expect personalized experiences and state-of-the-art technology. The goal: Moving away from being an automotive supplier to becoming the mobility service provider of the future. Mercedes-Benz recognized this early on and launched Mercedes me in 2014. The online service platform provides the interface between end customers and every Mercedes model.

Time for further development! We wanted to create a central platform for end customers from which all Mercedes mecConnect services can be accessed, used, and configured.

The Solution

Using a combination of expertise and intelligent software solutions, we created a platform that allows Mercedes me users to access their vehicle and all associated services worldwide. For this, we linked drivers, vehicles, customer and vehicle data. The result: optimal communication between vehicle, manufacturer, workshop, dealer, and customer.

The vehicle at a glance

Fuel level, range and tire pressure can be viewed in one application. As well as terms of use and other services. Left the door open or forgotten where the car is parked again? No problem. All can be managed remotely. Mercedes me is now used in 44 countries and has become an independent brand in the Mercedes-Benz universe. The number of users already exceeds several million.

What the experts say

  • "Mercedes me not only has incredibly high potential due to the functionalities and the amount of data required for this - there is also immense responsibility behind the entire process and the legal framework is exceedingly extensive."
